Dear Media Representative:
The FINA-CAF AIRSHO 2007 is scheduled to take place Sept. 29-30, 2007, at Midland International Airport. This year’s AIRSHO will feature the Trojan Horsemen and (with the exception of the FINA EXTRA 300L) an all-military Warbird AIRSHO in honor of the CAF’s 50th anniversary. Keep checking the Web site for updates on this year’s event.
Please note that we ask that you complete the press pass application form if you are interested in covering the event. You may fax or mail the application to my attention. Press pass applications must be submitted no later than Sept. 10, 2007. Press pass applications will not be accepted after the deadline date. Please note that press passes will not be issued without full completion of the application.
The media room is scheduled to open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 26; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 27, and from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 28. Press passes and media kits must be picked up during these times. Members of the press will not be charged admission to AIRSHO 2006 with their press pass. However, without the pass, members of the press will be required to buy a ticket to get into the show. Media representatives can then pick up their passes at the media tent on the flight line.
Please submit any articles you have written or photos you have taken involving the CAF with your application. We will also require a letter from your editor authorizing coverage for the publication’s use. Even if you are a freelancer, we will require a letter from the publication authorizing coverage for the publication’s use. The CAF reserves the right to request any materials produced to use as future press consideration.
