The FINA-CAF AIRSHO, scheduled for Sept. 29-30, 2007, at Commemorative Air Force International Headquarters in Midland, Texas, will celebrate the organization’s 50th anniversary with an all-military airshow, with the addition of the FINA EXTRA 300L.
The featured act will be the Trojan Horsemen with “A Salute to the Armed Forces of the United States,” including a formation aerobatic demonstration routine choreographed to patriotic music. Flying six T-28s, the team will recognize all five branches of the Armed Forces and pay tribute to those veterans who made the ultimate sacrifice defending our freedom.
In addition to the FINA EXTRA and the Trojan Horsemen, the show will be complemented by the CAF’s Airpower Demonstration, the Heritage and Legacy flights, the Texas Air Guard F-16s, F-15 Strike Eagle Demonstration team and the F-18 Super Hornet Demonstration team. We will also feature a half-mile Wall of Fire on Saturday, Sept. 29 – the longest wall of fire ever created at AIRSHO. Due to the popularity of the Vietnam-era reenactment at AIRSHO 2006, that performance will be expanded with more helicopters and airplanes.
Also during AIRSHO will be an expanded TRADESHO, featuring vendors from all over the United States, showcasing informational products and products for sale.
Hotels for this event fill quickly, so if you intend to come, book your room early through the accommodations page.
